From the freezing Siberia here comes the distant echo of Kshatriy. After several compilation appearances and CDr releases, their first official work is now available, due to the efforts of Muzyka Voln. Active since 2004 in the Russian post-industrial scene, Kshatriy introduces now itself to the a wider audience in a professional way, with this limited edition CD titled "Slepok Soznaniya".

The graphics, sober, with a black cover decorated by golden lettering, make you think about a cold, curt and detached work, almost aseptic. Kshatriy, in the Indo-European tradition, is the warrior that fights for the fight's sake, far from any personal gain. The padded, dark, but at the same time light-loaded sounds are created using obsessive synths, messed up buzzings, interpolated by distant echoes laid upon long soundscapes. Despite dark ambient being an overcrowded genre, Kshatriy still manages to communicate a calm serenity that feels like inner strength, just like that of the warrior he takes inspiration from.
