The self-produced CDr single "Restless Eyes", released in 2009, offers the same folk music with darkwave shades already tested last year on Lia Fail's debut demo release "Leipzig". We have here two tracks, the first of which, "Leipzig", comes from the aforementioned full-length album of the Bologna band, and the second is the unreleased "Battlefield". They are acoustic songs accompanied by slight guitars, apocalyptic martial drums and flavoured with irish violin sounds, ideally recalling of traditional folk music. As in the previous recordings, the city of Leipzig is the trait d’union with whispered antimilitaristic lyrics that dominate these two evocative dark ballads.
